Hugh Bergin (MA Development Studies) is a consultant to SmartEarth on international development specialising in the areas of capacity development, training, project management and Development Education. As well as consultancy work with SmartEarth.ie, clients include Kimmage Development Studies Centre, Gorta-Self Help Africa, Oxfam Ireland, Development Studies Association of Ireland. Previous to this Hugh has owned businesses - and worked in - the IT, travel and hospitality sectors.
